Document Abstract
Introduction.

This portion of the conformance standard specifies tests to determine conformance of a Node's IR Physical Layer to IS-60. Part One of this standard provides an overview of the conformance philosophy. The reader is urged to review that material before attempting to use the details provided in this part.

Three subsections under the following Test Specification heading provide Test Cases, Test Steps, and Test Case Dynamic Behavior, respectively. Test Cases are a terse description of each test to be run on a Unit Under Test (UUT). Test Steps are the building blocks for Test Cases. Test Case Dynamic Behavior is the formal expansion of each Test Case, written in the form of a series of Test Steps with a Pass or Fail outcome.
