IHS Online Energy Subscription Solutions!
API (American Petroleum Institute)
The API Collection is divided into the subject sections, each section and subsection is available from IHS as a separate subscription service, allowing you to subscribe to only those documents you frequently need to reference. The API Publication Collections include active documents written, published, and copyrighted by API. Publications include manuals, standards, specifications, recommended practices, bulletins, guidelines, and technical reports. API publications address several key aspects of the oil and gas industry, including exploration and production, refining, fire protection and safety, petroleum measurement and marine transportation. API documents reference offshore production, drilling, structural pipe, pipeline, health and environmental issues, valves, storage tanks, etc. To learn more or request additional information, please provide us with some additional information.
API Research Reports
API Research Reports are used by individuals involved in the exploration and production of petroleum products. The API Research Reports product includes active exploration and production Research Reports relating to various petrochemical research projects sponsored by API. The product contains Reports produced since the late '70's. Total cost of the research which went into producing the Reports is estimated at $7 million. All active Research Reports will be included in this service. To learn more or request additional information, please provide us with some additional information.
American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code –ASME BPVC
The ASME BPVC is available in the Sections, Code Cases, Interpretations, and ASME Referenced Standards. This allows you to subscribe to the entire collection or only those sections you frequently need to reference The ASME BPVC establishes rules of safety governing the design, fabrication, maintenance and inspection of boilers and pressure vessels, power producing machines (and associated subsystems) and nuclear power plant components. Originating in 1914, the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code is now adopted in part or in its entirety by 49 states and numerous municipalities and territories of the United States and all the provinces of Canada. Gas Processors Association (GPA)
GPA Standards Service is used by persons involved in engineering production, processing, transportation, handling and use of natural gases. The GPA Standards Service includes standards, codes, manuals, technical papers, research reports, and conference proceedings on fuel gas. To learn more or request additional information, please provide us with some additional information.
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
The NFPA Collection available in sections and include the National Fuel Gas Code - the safety benchmark for fuel gas installations and the Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code – regarded as law throughout the U.S. and enforceable under OSHA, this Code is the industry's most trusted and complete source for safety rules concerning flammable and combustible liquids. PetroChemical Industry Standards Collection
PetroChem Industry Standards Collection consists of selected industry standards used in the petrochemical industry. Included in the collection are sections of the ASME/BPVC, API Select, and Industry Standards from over 30 US industry standards societies. The documents in these collections are reviewed and modified twice annually to ensure the most industry-targeted group of standards are included in each collection. Used by companies whose operations integrate production of feed materials (crude petroleum, etc.) with refining and other manufacturing processes to produce petroleum products, petroleum based chemicals, and non-petroleum based chemicals. Users, by function, are plant engineers, mechanical engineers, maintenance personnel, quality assurance personnel, safety managers, and environmental compliance personnel working in the petroleum and chemical industries.
