This specification covers a transistorized 12 channel signal converter designated Converter, Telephone Signal CV-1548( )/G that changes conventional low ringing frequencies and dc supervisory signals to voice frequencies and converts conventional 2-wire telephone systems into 4-wire telephone systems for use with Multiplexer equipment. (See 6.1 and 6.6)
