Description / Abstract:

INTRODUCTION: Wells, like people, change every day and it is the purpose of well testing to measure and record these changes. A well test is described as the measurement, under controlled conditions, of all factors relating to the production of oil, water, and gas from a well in a given length of time. These factors may be volumes of oil, water, or gas; temperatures; or pressures. For an oil well production usually consists of oil, water, and gas ; for a gas well, production consists of gas, water, and usually some condensate.
