Description / Abstract:
This method is intended for the testing of copper naphthenate concentrates (6 and 8% copper) used in the preparation of wood preserving solutions. Copper Naphthenate is practically insoluble in water but some non-naphthenic adulterants such as copper acetate and copper propionate have substantial water solubility.
