Preface

This is the first edition of CSA Standard 2259.6, Rubber Insulating Blankets, forming part of the CSA Series of Standards onsafety Equipment for Linemen, and is written in SI (metric) units. In the preparation of this Standard considerable assistance was obtained from ANSI/ASTIVI Standard D1048-77, Rubber Insulating Blankets.

This Standard was prepared by the Subcommittee on Linemen's Rubber Protective Equipment and was formally apptuvd by the Technical Committee on Safety Equipment for Linemen and the Standards Steering Committee on Occupational Protective Equipment and Products.
