Full Description

Cooling Technology Institute (CTI) is an international nonprofit, technical organization which began in 1950. CTI provides the ability for exchange of technical information pertaining specifically to cooling tower technology, and users of treated wood found in cooling towers. CTI, through technical committees and individuals with various areas of interest and expertise on wood preservative treating, meet on a regular basis to develop and maintain this standard for preservatives and treated wood products found in cooling towers. This standard is intended to be used for cooling tower lumber only and it is intended to ensure that wood products are treated with suitable preservatives for use in cooling towers.
