This Standard specifies the carbon steel pipes (hereafter referred to as "pipes") used mainly for piping subjected to a temperature over 350oc. This standard apples to pipes with an outside diameter of 10.5 mm to 660.4mm.
With the previous agreement of the manufacturer, the purchaser may designate the special quality requirements given in Annex JA in addition to the requirements specified in the text of this Standard.
