This handbook prescribes criteria for the design of structures, including temporary structures, which are fabricated of timber and related materials.
This handbook shall not be used as a reference document for procurement purposes. Do not reference it in Military or Federal specifications or other procurement documents.
This handbook, MIL-HDBK-1002/5, Timber Structures, cancels and supersedes HAVFAC DM-2.5, Timber Structures of May 1980.
