This test method covers the determination of the transverse tensile properties of hoop wound resin matrix composites reinforced by high-modulus (greater than 21 GPa or 3 Msi), continuous fibers. It describes testing of hoop wound (90°) cylinders in axial tension for determination of transverse tensile properties.
