This document contains the NASA materials ratings for . Flammability, Toxicity, 'Thermal Vacuum Stability, Age Life, Oxygen Compatibility, Fluid Compatibility, Stress Corrosion, Corrosion and a Foreign Alloy Cross Reference. However, the Design Agency is responsible to assure that all materials and processes used in the design and fabrication of space systems hardware shall be selected by considering the operational requirements for the particular application and the design engineering properties of the candidate materials.

The Materials listed in this document be used for all material selections in both the as-designed and as-built configurations. The suitability of a material is dependent on its specific application. Therefore, the ratings listed herein do not constitute acceptance or rejection of specific material applications. Additional rationale/test data, etc., may be required for some material applications.
