This specification covers tapes for masking during paint stripping operations (see 6.1).


Types: The masking tapes shall be of the following types, as specified (see 6.2);

Type I - Three-hour protection

Type II - Seventy-two-hour protection

Sizes: The tapes shall be 1, 2, or 3 inches wide, or as specified in the contract or order (see 6.2).
