Description / Abstract:

The Manual has been revised, first of all, to reflect up-to-date design, material, and manufacturing information. Significant emphasis has been placed on the subject of materials, because material is so integral to the successful design and function of torsion bars. Second, the term "Stabilizer Bars" has been added to the title of the Manual to reflect the increasing importance of properly engineered stabilizer bars for new wehicle design. Finally, certain sections of the Manual have been revised to clarify the meaning of those sections.
