Description / Abstract:

Form

This specification covers a corrosion and heat-resistant nickel alloy in the form of bars, forgings, flash welded rings up to 4.00 inch, incl (101.6 mm, incl) in nominal diameter or least distance between parallel sides, and stock of any size for forging or flash welded rings (see 8.5).

Application

These products have been used primarily for parts requiring a combination of resistance to creep and stress-rupture up to 1300 °F (704 °C), oxidation resistance up to 1800 °F (982 °C), and good machinability, but usage is not limited to such applications.
